Well here is the first post on this blog! I am going to use it to shout out a recommendation: Santogold! I just had a listen to her album and I love it, really do! Bassy, cool, interesting and fresh. Starting point I guess is M.I.A. (see Creator) but definately different (though also championed by a certain Mr Diplo) the production is less in your face and there is more variety to the album, some tracks are Karen-O like (Say Aha) while others are phip-hop. OK, I am only up to track seven so far, but that is testament to the album, I instantly warmed to it and can't wait to finish it! When I do I will add some more. Equally here is a damn fine remix by Diplo of Starstruck (freeee!)
